I brushed my tongue, cheecks, gums, teeth, under tongue and all around.  Rinsed with water really, really, really well. Then brusherd with a plain toothbrush just to rid any remaining soap residue.  I had slight discoloration in the front of my tongue at first, (maybe chemical burn).  I cut back using it to 2-3 times a day now.  Naturally I got carried away by how great it was and how great my breath was.  The discoloration is now gone.
