Stopping or eliminating bad breath isn’t always easy or everyone would have the problem solved

Filed under: General Relief — Susan @ 7:46 am

Stopping bad breath is not easy.  For those who suffer from chronic bad breath it remains one of the most challenging and problems a person can face.  There are tons of different products in the marketplace that all tout how great they work.  They probably do but for some they don’t work at all.  And those are the people who are reading this and trying desperately to stop once and for all there bad breath.  While halitosis in most cases is easily cured in some it is a very annoying and never ending saga.  A saga that no matter what they try does not improve the condition.  If you are one of those who suffer from and can’t get any relief then maybe trying the following steps won’t help you but if you are in a more normal range then just possibly the following simple things on the list may help you…you will never know until you see what works for you.
Try the following steps and see if help is on the way.  They may seem obvious but not everyone practices them daily which is required if you want to put an end to bad breath.
1.      Brush your teeth after every meal
2.      Brush your tongue (yep tongue) after each meal
3.      Use mouth wash at least twice a day and three times a day if you can
4.      Always drink a lot of water…the more the better
5.      Floss at least twice a day to get out all the lingering food particles
6.      No smoking
7.      No chewing tobacco
8.      Have your dentist do regular gum checkups
Doing these simple things each day can help especially over the long term.

More timely information on bad breath

Filed under: General Relief — Susan @ 8:38 am

Hi Guys,
I hope you are all keeping okay. I’m sure some of the Regulars and
Old-timers will remember me. I used to post on these message boards
often in the past but had a little break since April so that I could
sort out some problems of mine (hic!:)

I just wanted to say that I am on the mend now and wanted to return
slowly to the message boards. Mainly, I wanted to wish everyone a
really Happy Xmas.

In time we will find all the answers we need, but for now, life is
short, so please live it the best you can. That is my message I
guess. I just wanted to express to everyone a ray of light that it
is my firm belief that we will eventually overcome this problem.

It is my belief that many of us on these message boards suffer from
a variety of enzyme disorders. Some are properly scientifically
documented (eg trimethylaminuria) whilst others are not (AND ARE
DIFFICULT TO RESEARCH!) but do appear very similar in nature
(missing/mutated enzyme and overgrowth of gut/tongue flora).

In many of us, for some reason what we eat dictates how we smell and
I think many of us agree on this. If you are a follower of the Low
Choline diet or the Candida diet or the Low Dairy/Carbs diet or the
Vegan diet then we are really all in agreement that one of the ways
in which we can influence our odor is through diet. With time, we
will find other ways too and this is all about trial and error.

One of my reasons for returning on these message boards is to enjoy
the comradeship and empathy which we all share. But another reason
is that I would like to participate in surveys which I believe may
assist researchers in better understanding our conditions.

In time, the nature of these surveys will become more evident. But
it is my strong belief that a survey should only ask purposeful
questions that will eventually assist us in some way. So, the kind
of things that will especially be of interest to me are other
conditions you may suffer from (eg loose/smelly motions, aggravating
foods, white tongue coating, liver or kidney disease etc).

I am hoping to find one or two people who will help me with such
surveys and somebody with some IT skills so that we can have a well
structured database that reflects our surveys in a useful fashion.
The database should be an area that every member can contribute to
but should be of limited space so that only the salient points can
be listed.

Nobody has time to go through the thousands of old messages on these
sites but clicking on ‘Database’ and inputting your details and
examining other’s details should be easy. Everyone should have a
small space where they can say something important in the database
which is easily accessible to all other members at the click of a
button. Don’t you agree?

Okay, so who will help me?! ….Come on now! …don’t step back so
quickly! :)

Hope for helping to stop Bad Breath may be on the way…

Filed under: General Relief — Susan @ 2:30 pm

Hope for stopping bad breath comes from a strange place.  Not long ago I was contacted by a person named John who had told me that a very large company (name withheld) many years ago made a breath product that worked great (at least for him).  After John had tried for months to get a response from the large company he wrote me an email hoping I might be able to help.  Superwomen I am not but I thought what the heck.  To my amazement after just a couple of emails to this large company I was directly in touch with the president or someone at least acting like the president.  The long and short of it is that they went through there old files and found the formula for this stuff.  Not only did they find the stuff they made up a batch and sent it to me overnight via fed-ex at no charge.  How is that for great customer service?  I’d say terrific.  The best part is that this stuff really seems to work.  Anyway in the coming days we will be telling you more about this story and how possibly you can get some for yourself or loved one.

Bad Breath and the Hope to find something that works

Filed under: General Relief — Susan @ 3:26 pm

Fighting and beating chronic bad breath.  This blog is dedicated to those who have or have had chronic bad breath.  While the numbers may be small to those who have this condition the feeling of helplessness is overpowering.  Trying to overcome this problem is complicated and time consuming.  The problem is easily identifiable however the solution remains hidden at best.  Many have tried for years to beat this with little or no luck.  Many times it has ruined the persons self esteem and driven them further into a remote hole…a hole away from social gatherings.  The problem while seemingly so simple must be complex otherwise this problem would not exist…it does and suffering through it for many years without a solution is anguishing at best.  Is help on the way?  By teaming up and sharing all of our resources whether successful or not, will we possibly be able to put an end to this chronic problem.  The more we know the better we might be able to determine our own course of action.  So if you have something to share let’s not be bashful…share.
